ClearScore is available for free to anyone who is over 18 years of age and has an active personal email address. We’ll also need at least 3 years of UK address history to confirm your identity and get your report from Equifax.
During the registration process, we’ll be asking you for some of your details so that we can find your information, confirm your identity and pull your credit report data from Equifax.
It’s important that the details you provide are correct and match your documents - the name you use needs to be your legal name that matches your ID documents. When you provide your address history, please make sure that you’re using the same format as your other accounts with lenders and your council.
During the signup process, you might notice references to Persona. It’s a trusted tool ClearScore uses to confirm who you are and to prevent fraud.
Already have an account
We only allow one account per person. If during the signup process you were told you already have an account, please try to find your account details and log in. A good idea is to search your email inbox for any emails from ClearScore - this might help you identify the email address you used to create an account.
If you don’t remember what email address you used or you’re sure you haven’t signed up before, please contact us using the ClearScore Assistant in the lower right corner of the Help Centre. Our team can help you find your account and regain access. You might need to verify your identity in the process of recovering your account.
