You can update your personal details in your My Account section.
• On desktop: go to My Account, then select Personal Details.
• On the app: go to My Account, then tap My Details.
Here you can update:
• Email address
• Mobile number
• Current address
• Residential status
• Annual income
• Employment
• Main bank account
Updating your address
To update your address, go to Your details and click Update next to Current address. It’s important that your address format matches across your bank, lenders, and local council - this helps ensure your credit report updates correctly.
• If your current and previous address are the wrong way round
You can update your address in your My Account section. Your address will update immediately there, but it can take up to 5 weeks for your next credit report to reflect this change.
• If your address doesn't appear on the ClearScore account drop-down
Follow these steps:
1. Check the Royal Mail postcode finder
Use the Royal Mail postcode finder to confirm your exact address format. If your address isn’t listed, contact Royal Mail to add or update it.
2. Update your address everywhere
Make sure the same format appears across all your accounts. (Example: “Flat 2a Waverley Road” is not the same as “2a Waverley Road.”)
3. Allow time for updates
Once everything matches, allow up to 5 weeks for the change to appear on your credit report.
