This is when a lender shows you a percentage of how likely you are to be accepted for an offer. For example, you might see you're 70% or 100% pre-approved (suitable) for a card, loan or mortgage.
Pre-approval is not a guarantee you'll get the offer. The percentage comes from a soft search of your report and you need to wait for the full approval from the lender.
