If you've received a notification from us that you’ve missed a payment on one of your accounts, please note that we receive this information from Equifax (our data provider). This means we don’t have the power to alter the information on your credit report.
Your ‘Next Report’ tab will show any changes to your information as soon as we receive them from Equifax, under ‘Upcoming Changes’. These will be reflected on your ClearScore report when it is next updated, which happens once a month.
Don’t forget, your credit report is a snapshot of your financial information on the date it was generated, so your information can be up to six weeks out of date at any time.
If you’ve already made this payment, please contact your lender directly for more information.
If they’ve amended their records, they should provide this updated information to Equifax, and this will then show up on your credit report within 6-8 weeks.
Once this information is on your report, if it is more than 6-8 weeks out of date, we’d recommend raising a dispute so that Equifax can look into this for you here
Please note, you’ll need to have verified your email address on ClearScore to raise a query with Equifax.
If you haven’t verified your email address, look for the ‘Verify’ link next to your email address in your ‘My account’ section.
