Add a 'Notice of Correction’ to explain why you're not appearing on the electoral roll
This is a short note of up to 200 words that's used to clarify parts of your report that aren't necessarily wrong, but you might like to explain them to lenders. Your notice must be factually correct, suitable for publication, and cannot damage someone else's reputation. This won't affect your credit report information or your score.
Jersey and Guernsey residents
It's worth noting that Jersey and Guernsey currently don't share their electoral roll information with Equifax, or any other credit reference agencies. If you're a resident of Jersey and are registered to vote, you can request your local parish official to complete the 'Jersey Electoral Register Confirmation' on your behalf, which you can send through our disputes form to Equifax for review.
