Thank you for agreeing to participate in the alpha testing program for the OneScore App (OneScore).
The OneScore App contains new features which are on trial or under development, and which we are currently testing in a development or “Alpha” form.
ClearScore – Our relationship with you
Here at ClearScore, we don’t really like long terms and conditions, but these are important. Because the additional terms set out in this document, together with the main ClearScore App Terms & Conditions, our Privacy Notice and Cookies Policy (together, our Terms), sets out the rules which cover our relationship with you. They explain our responsibilities and yours, and how you can use our services. These apply to you if you use our apps (including the OneScore), websites or services and are legally binding so please read them. You may also want to print them out or save them on your device in case you ever want to come back to them in the future.
Please remember that these aren’t a complete list of all your or our rights or responsibilities, as there might be others under general law. If you want more information about your general rights as a consumer, contact a consumer advice organisation, such as the Citizens’ Advice Bureau.

If the question or complaint relates to information we have obtained from a Credit Reference Agency or other third party service provider, we may refer your question or complaint to them if we consider it appropriate.
If you have made a complaint about our services and we have provided a final response which is not to your satisfaction or you have not received a response within eight weeks of making your complaint, you can ask the Financial Ombudsman Service to investigate. Save as otherwise set out in these Terms:
- you agree to keep confidential the composition and design of, and new concepts, features, functionality and performance enhancements made available through, the OneScore;
- we (and our suppliers and service providers) have no control over the content or accuracy of information provided by Credit Reference Agencies or other third parties;
- the services we provide are on an “as is” basis;
- we do not guarantee that the OneScore, our website or our services will be defect or error free or available at any particular or all times; and
- we don’t guarantee all of the information on our website, in our apps, etc. is up to date or accurate at any particular or all times and we accept no liability for inaccuracies or omissions. We recommend you confirm the accuracy and completeness of any information before relying on it.
The OneScore and its additional content, features and functionality is provided on a trial basis for testing and evaluation purposes only. We may stop developing it and/or suspend its use, or change or remove any of its features or functionality at any time. We are under no obligation to, and may choose not to, introduce any or all of the new features and functionality into the main ClearScore App.
Use of the ClearScore OneScore
Please refer to our standard ClearScore App Terms & Conditions, which also apply to use of the OneScore. References in those terms to our apps include the ClearScore OneScore.
Your use of the OneScore is free of charge. Subject to your compliance with the Terms, we (or our content providers) grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to access and make non-commercial use of the OneScore. All rights not expressly granted to you in our Terms are reserved and retained by us or our licensors, suppliers, publishers, rights holders or other content providers.
You may only use the OneScore if:
- you are at least 18 years old;
- you are not: (i) a member of the press; or (ii) an employee, agent or representative of or consultant to Noddle, Credit Karma, or any of our other competitors which engage in similar or identical services to ours.
Your use of the OneScore, its composition and design, and the new concepts, features, functionality and performance enhancements made available through it, and your participation in our beta development initiative must be kept confidential.
The information and materials, which we make available to you through your participation in OneScore is confidential and commercially sensitive to ClearScore. This includes, in particular, the composition and design of, and new concepts, features, functionality and performance enhancements made available through, OneScore.
By participating in our Beta testing programme or using OneScore you agree to keep this information, and your participation in the testing programme, confidential and not to disclose it to any person other than as required by applicable law, to a member of ClearScore staff or another registered ClearScore user who is participating in the programme and using OneScore.
By participating in the Beta testing programme and using OneScore you agree to participate in user surveys and to provide regular feedback on the OneScore App and your experiences in using it. In particular, you agree to respond to all reasonable requests for feedback made by us, including by responding to online surveys, pop up questions or through feedback tools provided on the OneScore App.
We may use the feedback, responses and information you provide us, and the data we collect through your use of the OneScore for the purposes of the testing programme and assessing and developing the ClearScore App and our services, for analytics purposes and as otherwise set out in our Privacy Notice, and you grant us a licence to use it in this way.
Functionality of the ClearScore OneScore
The OneScore is supplied to you “as is” and we do not make any warranties in respect of the OneScore. In particular, we do not guarantee that it will be defect or error-free or available at any particular or all times.
The OneScore and its additional features and functionality are provided on a trial basis for testing and evaluation purposes only. We may stop developing it and/or suspend its use, or change or remove any of its features or functionality at any time. We are under no obligation to and may choose not to, introduce any or all of the new features and functionality into the main ClearScore App.
The composition and design of the features on the OneScore, and its additional content, features, concepts and functionality and the other modifications to and development and enhancements of the ClearScore App, are in Alpha testing phase. You accept that they are under development and testing and have not yet been fully developed or commercially refined by us and, as such, the OneScore features may:
- contain design flaws and its use may result in unexpected results, including loss of data.
- not yet be fully functional or reliable in all respects. In particular, it may temporarily or permanently cease to function, and it may not function as intended or anticipated.
Should you experience any such issues, you may have the option to provide feedback directly through the ClearScore App and OneScore App.
Making changes to our Terms or Services
We may change these Terms, our website, apps and our services at any time. We will notify you of any changes to our Terms by sending you an email notification, by posting a notice on our website or app or through the services, or in any other manner, we deem appropriate. Your continued use of our website, apps or our services will confirm your acceptance of the revised terms.
For changes that do not affect your rights or obligations under this agreement and that constitute a mere update of information, we may choose to not notify you directly. Please check this page from time to time to take notice of any updates made to the information here.
