What are Weekly Report Updates?
With ClearScore, your credit report is updated monthly. But whenever we see there’s a change coming to your monthly report, we’ll let you know the same week. You'll be alerted by email and also with a notification in your credit report.
Please be aware that this is in limited Beta release and only some users will see this feature.
If you would like to see the latest information held on your credit report, you can request an Equifax Statutory Credit Report for £2. To request this report you will need to complete Equifax’s application form and answer any questions about your financial history. Therefore we recommend you do this when you can easily access your financial records.
The Equifax Statutory Credit Report is a one-off copy of your report which you can request and view online, or you can also choose to receive it by mail.
If you can't see your notification straight away, please go through all the sections of your Report, as your update is specific to the sub-sections of your Report (e.g. Personal, Accounts, Corrections, Searches). An orange dot will show on the section where your change will occur, and a blue box will describe the change.
Your notification will show inside your Report, not on your Dashboard.
In the current stage of this feature, we can only give you a brief overview of your upcoming change, e.g. 'a new credit account will be added to your report'. As soon as your new report is ready, you'll be able to see the detail of your change.
Your Report is provided to us by Equifax, our partner credit reference agency. They compile your report based on information from banks, mobile phone companies and utility companies. This report is updated once a month, so your report may contain information that is up to 6 weeks out of date.
If you think your credit report contains incorrect information that’s more than 6 weeks out of date, you’ll need to contact the lender involved, or fill in a dispute form to have this information corrected by Equifax directly: raise a dispute.
